Excited to announce the follow-up book to Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl, 'The Last Chelsea Girl ', is coming along nicely! Here's a brief synopsis of what you can expect:

The Last Chelsea Girl follows the true-life story of 21-year-old actress, Miss Amelia, as her life changes forever when she falls for a mysterious showman, moves into the penthouse of New York's legendary Chelsea Hotel, and opens her first - and Manhattan's last - truly illegal burlesque speakeasy.

Based on her personal diary, this coming of age story exposes what it's really like to live atop the world's most famous bohemian landmark, as well as the secrets of running an illegal, celebrity-frequented nightclub. But living the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle and being at the heart of New York's notorious underbelly, Miss Amelia soon finds out that nothing is what it seems.

The Last Chelsea Girl captures the ticking time bomb of New York City's last days of decadence, danger and debauchery as only someone who lived through it can tell.
