Judge for BurLesque Idol

So honoured to be asked to be a judge at the finals of Burlesque Idol November 6th at the Hippodrome! I will also be doing a special performance - Can't wait! 

"GRAND FINAL SPECIAL GUEST JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT! Each year along with the reigning Burlesque Idol title holder, Tempest and Delores are joined by a guest superstar from the world of burlesque. This year we are thrilled to invite Miss Amelia Kallman to the panel! 

Producer, showgirl and author, Miss Amelia has just published her memoir Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl - chronicling her and her husband's opening of the first burlesque club in China - Gosney & Kallman’s Chinatown.Miss Amelia began her showgirl career when she met legendary nightclub designer, Norman Gosney, after crashing a party at his penthouse on the roof of the famous Chelsea Hotel in New York City. Together they ran an illegal speakeasy, The Blushing Diamond, featuring a chorus line of burlesque stars and Miss Amelia's famous '3 Minute Movies'. In 2007 the couple moved to Shanghai to open China’s first burlesque nightclub, the award-winning Gosney & Kallman’s Chinatown. The ensemble troupe also performed the first burlesque show in a Muslim country in Malaysia. Her memoir, 'Diary of a Shanghai Showgirl: Raising the Red Curtain on China... Uncensored', has recently been published, and the pair have been touring a show by the same name, which previewed in NY and D.C., premiered at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, has recently played London, with upcoming dates in Bristol, Surrey, and Spain. The book and show have attracted features in The Washington Post, The Times, BBC World, The Mail Online and Metro.
